Family Graduation Day

Pomp, circumstance, and absolute chaos defined the day as three generations of Vissers attempted to coordinate their post-ceremony meeting spot using nothing but hand signals across a sea of identical black caps. The graduate's triumphant stage walk nearly ended in disaster when an enthusiastic relative's air horn startled both the dean and the neighboring dogs being trained as service animals. Later, the celebration lunch transformed into an impromptu comedy show when Grandma Linda cornered the waiter with embarrassing childhood stories while Dad secretly doubled the tip in sympathy. The photo session created its own challenges, as asking everyone to look natural produced the most unnaturally stiff poses in family history, while asking everyone to jump miraculously resulted in perfectly synchronized mid-air shots that immediately became framed treasures.
