Christmas in Las Vegas

Holiday music and casino chimes created a unique holiday soundtrack as we traded traditional pine trees for the neon glow of the Vegas strip. Grandpa Dale's poker face crumbled completely when he unwrapped his gag gift, a rhinestone-studded fanny pack that he surprisingly wore for the entire trip while claiming it made him blend in with the high rollers. Our family gift exchange in the hotel suite featured presents that had survived airport security inspections with varying degrees of success, including Aunt Ilene's homemade cookies that somehow transformed into piles of crumbs. The holiday spirit remained perfectly intact despite the desert setting, complete with a Christmas dinner at a buffet where Dad returned to the table with a plate stacked so impossibly high it required real engineering skills to transport.
