Swish, Swoosh & Snow: Cross-Country Skiing Spectacular
Somebody forgot to tell Mother Nature about our ski weekend plans, resulting in a snow dump of biblical proportions that transformed our 'easy beginner trail' into an Arctic expedition requiring survival skills nobody actually possessed! The rented ski equipment looked suspiciously like it predated the internet era, with boot bindings that spontaneously released at the most inconvenient moments. TJ discovered a hidden talent for skiing backward after an impressive 180° spin that looked intentional but definitely wasn't, while Dad's 'pizza slice' stopping technique created snow spray patterns that could qualify as modern art. The weekend's highlight reel featured Cole's spectacular face-plant into a snowbank that was so perfectly executed even the passing ski patrol gave it a 9.8 for artistic impression.
