The Visser Family Rockstars: Our Live Studio Debut!
The garage band dreams of our youth found unexpected resurrection when someone discovered the cabin's forgotten closet of musical instruments! What began as casual after-dinner noodling evolved into a full-fledged production with makeshift lighting (flashlights taped to chair backs), hastily written setlists, and neighbors recruited as our 'sold-out crowd.' Dad's air-guitar solos defied both physics and rhythm while Mom's tambourine enthusiasm threatened several nearby glassware items. The kids transitioned from mortified to surprisingly invested when they realized their parents' musical incompetence made their own amateur skills look positively professional by comparison. The grand finale featured an original composition titled 'Prineville Blues'—a masterpiece primarily consisting of three chords and increasingly bizarre lyrics about vacation mishaps that somehow earned a standing ovation (though that might have been relief that it was finally over).
